Turns out she wasn't married off, the story was partially made Up!!!
The parents "were" offered money for her to marry, but the Parents refused!!
I sent my apologies to the Parents for believing that they had done such
a Horrible thing....  :'(
Shame on people who make up these types of stories... I should have
known when she wasn't shedding any tears. If I were in her position,
knowing that my parents were giving me up, I would be overcome with
fear & grief !! :(    It pays to always Research, Yes?! >.<
